Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to understand the pathophysiology and clinical presentation of inhibitor development in patients with haemophilia B in comparison to haemophilia A
Upon completion of the session, the participant will achieve knowledge on different treatment strategies for patients with haemophilia B and inhibitors, especially on different immune tolerance induction (ITI) protocols with or without immunosuppression as well as upcoming alternative strategies for bleeding prophylaxis.
Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to council a patient or his family on treatment options, particularly to explain potential benefits, risks, and side effects associated with an attempt of inhibitor eradication.
