Olivier Sanchez is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Paris Cité University. He is full time specialist and head of the Department of Respiratory and Intensive Care Medicine at European Georges Pompidou Hospital in Paris.
His research interests are focussed on pulmonary circulation and mainly on acute and chronic venous thromboembolic disease. He is a member of the French INvestigation Network On Venous Thrombo-Embolism (INNOVTE), a labellised F-CRIN network promoting translational clinical research and European clinical studies on venous thromboembolism. He is a member of the European Respiratory Society.
