Dr. Angela Weyand is an associate professor of pediatric hematology oncology at the University of Michigan Medical School. Clinically, she is particularly interested in young women and girls with bleeding or clotting disorders and is the co-director of a combined hematology/gynecology program serving this population. Her research interests are in women and girls with bleeding disorders, hormone provoked thrombosis, hematology reference ranges and von Willebrand disease. She was a member of the ASH/ISTH/NHF/WFH VWD management guideline panel and co-chair of the NHF State of the Science Research Priorities Working Group on People with the Potential to Menstruate.
