Celina Woo, MN, NP(P), has been a Nurse Practitioner at the Inherited Bleeding Disorders/Hemophilia Clinic at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada since 2012. She is also Adjunct Faculty at the University of British Columbia School of Nursing. She has been an active member of the Canadian Association of Nurses in Hemophilia Care (CANHC), and is the incoming secretary on the CANHC executive board.
In her research and practice, Celina’s interests include knowledge translation and quality improvement, in the care of individuals living with inherited bleeding disorders. Through her career she has mentored students and other health care professionals, and contributed to multiple posters, presentations and papers on the care of persons with bleeding disorders. Celina is passionate about providing family-centred care through a chronic-care lens, and enjoys supporting patients and families throughout their journey to adulthood.
