    Offer Erez is a professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Director of the obstetrical outpatients clinics at the Departmdent of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Soroka Medical Center, Beer Sheva Israel. His main research interest is the discovery of biomarkers for obstetrical complications, and the management and prevention of acute obstetrical hemorrhage for the prevention of maternal mortality. He constructed the obstetrical DIC score and is the PI of interntional registery of DIC in pregnancy of the Women's Health in Thrombosis and Hemostasis and DIC SSC of the ISTH. He gained his medical education at the Ben Gurion University School of Medicine, residency at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Soroka University Medical Center and was a research fellow and later a professor and the director of the Biomarjkers research at The Perinatology Research Branch of the NICHD at the Detroit Medical Center Detroit MI USA.
