Rida Malik is a Ph.D. candidate at McMaster University and Thrombosis and Atherosclerosis Research Institute (TaARI) in the lab of Dr. Jeffrey Weitz. Her research goal is to investigate the role of a plasma protein called histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRG) in coagulation. Specifically, her project focuses on understanding the effect of HRG binding to polyphosphate and platelets on thrombosis.
