Dr. Pelland-Marcotte, MD PhD, is a consultant in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Quebec (Quebec City, Canada) and Adjunct Professor at Universite Laval, specialized in Pediatric Thrombosis. She completed her training in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and a fellowship in Pediatric Hemostasis and Thrombosis at SickKids Hospital, in Toronto, Canada, and completed her doctoral studies in Health Services Research at the University of Toronto, with her dissertation work exploring the epidemiology of infections in childhood leukemia survivors using secondary data. Her current research projects explore the epidemiology and prognostic impact of pediatric cancer-associated thrombosis and the epidemiology of neonatal thrombosis.
