Yan Xu, MD, FRCPC is an subspecialty fellow in Adult Thrombosis Medicine at the University of Ottawa, having completed his medical school at Queen’s University, internal medicine training at the University of Toronto and hematology fellowship at The Ottawa Hospital. Yan’s research interests involve optimizing risk stratification for patients with unprovoked venous thromboembolism. His work has been supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, the American Society of Hematology, and the CanVECTOR Network.
