Erin Mathiesen Hald (MD, PhD) is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Trombosis Research Center (TREC ) at UiT The Arctic University of North Norway, Norway, and is currently a visiting postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Vermont, Larner College of Medicine, Vermont, USA. She is a hematologist at the University Hospital of North Norway, and has a PhD in Health Sciences (Medicine) from UiT. Her main areas of research focus on the epidemiology and pathogenesis on thromboembolic disorders, and specifically atrial fibrillation and venous thromboembolism.
