A native of Pamplona, Spain, Dr. Cristina Puy received her B.S. in Biology and a Ph.D. degree in Thrombosis and Hemostasis from University of Navarra, Spain, She performed her postdoctoral research in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Oregon Health & Science University, in the group of Dr. Owen McCarty, studying new mechanisms by which the contact pathway of coagulation can regulate fibrin generation. Dr. Cristina Puy is now a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Oregon Health & Science University.
