Dr. Tirsa T. van Duijl is a postdoctoral scientist at the department Molecular Hematology at Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation (Amsterdam, The Netherlands). She recently (2023) obtained her PhD in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine at the Leiden University Medical Center (Leiden, The Netherlands). Her interest lies in empowering hematology diagnostics by promoting (I) close collaboration between clinicians, scientists and laboratory specialists and (II) employing her research efforts in quantitative protein mass spectrometry. Duijl's research projects include plasma proteomics to dissect Bleeding Disorders of Unknown Cause and mass spectrometry-based proteoform analysis to study qualitative defects in disorders in coagulation and fibrinolysis.
