Dr. Marc Blondon (MD, MS) is an attending physician in the Division of Angiology and Hemostasis of the Geneva University Hospitals, in Switzerland.
After an initial clinical specialization training in Internal medicine, Dr. Blondon completed a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology at the University of Washington, Seattle, followed by further clinical specialization in Angiology (Vascular medicine) in Geneva.
His research interest is focused on VTE, especially in the area of hormones, pregnancy, hospital thromboprophylaxis and COVID-19 related thrombosis, including national and international collaborations. He is actively involved in the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, where he previously held the Chair of the Early Career Committee recently.
