Sarah Kelliher (MB) is an early-career clinician-scientist undertaking doctoral studies at the Conway SPHERE Research Group at University College Dublin. Dr Kelliher is supported by the Wellcome-Health Research Board Irish Clinical and Academic Training (ICAT) programme. Alongside her clinical training as a haematology specialist registrar, she is undertaking research characterising mechanisms of hypercoagulability in Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (The EMPRESS Study) under the primary supervision of Dr Barry Kevane. Dr Kelliher was recently awarded an ISTH Training Fellowship to be hosted by Dr Anandi Krishnan at Stanford University. Using a multi-omics approach from large independent clinical cohorts, Dr Krishnan and Dr Kelliher are investigating the platelet proteo-transcriptomic signature from patients with Myeloproliferative Neoplasms.
