Yutaka Umemura, M.D., Ph.D. is a chief clinical officer in the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, Osaka General Medical Center, Osaka, Japan. Yutaka specializes in emergency and critical care medicine, especially sepsis and sepsis-induced coagulopathy, and is responsible for educating other physicians and research fellows.
