Dr. Shreya Agarwal is a physician-researcher in pediatric hematology and oncology, with a primary focus in hemostasis and thrombosis. Dr. Agarwal earned her medical degree at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India, followed by residency in pediatrics at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in New Jersey. She then moved to Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, for fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology and most recently, completed an advanced fellowship in pediatric hemostasis and thrombosis at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, OH. Her primary research interests are thrombosis, thromboprophylaxis and thrombotic microangiopathies. Her research is currently supported by the American Thrombosis and Hemostasis Network (ATHN) DREAM Award, with the goal of determining the prevalence and risk factors for thrombosis in congenital bleeding disorders.
