Bas Laan is a PhD student in the group of Jeroen Eikenboom (LUMC) and Ruben Bierings (ErasmusMC). After graduating from the Biomedical sciences master in Leiden he started his PhD on the 1st of April 2020. Bas is currently working within the SYMPHONY consortium to investigate the cellular mechanisms of endothelial cells behind interindividual variation in bleeding phenotypes between patients with bleeding disorders.
