Tia Kohs earned a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Oregon Health & Science University, as well as a BS in Biology and a BA in Chemistry from Whitworth University. She currently works as a researcher at Oregon Health & Science University, where her research interests include: 1) the interface between blood cells, plasma proteins, and shear stress in the blood microenvironment, and 2) how these interactions impact physiological and pathological processes.
