Woosuk Steve Hur, PhD. is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at McGill University and his Doctorate of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of British Columbia in the lab of Dr. Christian Kastrup where he studied the biochemical regulation and novel roles of coagulation factor XIII. He then joined the lab of Dr. Matthew Flick at the UNC Chapel Hill to study the reciproal relationship between coagulation and fibrinolysis, and the development of obesity and associated comorbidities.
