Alison Livada is a current MD/PhD student at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. She has her bachelor's from Penn State with degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Spanish. She is in her third year of graduate school in Dr. Craig Morrell's laboratory and is studying the developmental origins of lung megakaryocytes and the function of lung derived platelets.
