Mr. Willian van Dijk (MD) is a PhD student at Leiden University Medical Centre in the Netherlands, at the department of Clinical Epidemology. His research focuses on venous thrombosis after SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Because he is also in training to be a General Practitioner (GP) he used data from several GPs in the Netherlands to investigate the relation between SARS-CoV-2 vaccination and venous thrombosis. Paralel to this research with routine care data, he is currently performing a case-control study on the same subject.
