Dr. Smita Joshi is a Staff Scientist at the University of Kentucky Collage of Medicine (Lexington, KY, USA). She has an undergraduate degree in Ayurveda from India and Masters degree in Biology from Morehead State University (Morehead, KY). Smita received her PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry from University of Kentucky. Her work focuses on the role of Vesicle-Associated Membrane Proteins/ VAMPs in platelet granule secretion, cargo trafficking and hemostasis.
