Michelle A. Worst, PharmD, BCOP, MBA is currently working as a director of clinical strategy for hematology/oncology at Medscape Oncology. She is an oncology pharmacist with deep clinical and research experience. Prior to joining Medscape in 2019, she serve as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Thoracic/Head & Neck Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has extensive teaching experience at various higher-level institutions – The University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, The University of Houston College of Pharmacy, and in the Department of Nursing at Kapi’olani Community College. She has various publications in journals like Blood, Clinical Lung Cancer, British Journal of Haematology, JAMA Dermatology, JADPRO, and others. Dr. Worst has given presentations at both he local and national level, with some of the most recent including BCOP Education through HOPA. She is an active member in various organizations and was recently promoted to Vice Chair of the COPA BCOP Conference Programming Subcommittee. Dr. Worst was recently recognized as an Outstanding New Alumni through the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. In addition to her professional achievements, she is happily married to her husband, Nick, and enjoys spending time with her son, Tucker, and two dogs, Nala and Mila. Captain and Dr. Worst are currently expecting their second child.
