Sanna Rijpma PhD EuSpLM works as a clinical chemist at the Laboratory of Thrombosis and Hemostasis at the Radboudumc. She studied Biomedical Sciences at the Radboud University Nijmegen and obtained her PhD which was financed from a personal grant at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Radboud University Nijmegen in 2016. Sanna worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Medical Microbiology after which she started as a resident in Clinical Chemistry where she dedicated her specialization phase to thrombosis and hemostasis research and diagnostics. Currently, she focusses on Thrombosis and Hemostasis diagnostics and research. Sanna has published >20 peer-reviewed papers, her H-index is 14 and has contributed to local and national protocols/ guidelines concerning hemostasis-related treatment. Her aim is to increase knowledge on hemostatic processes and diagnostic modalities and aid application in clinical practice.
