Following a MD at the University of Geneva, Alessandro Casini had a fellowship in Internal Medicine and Hematology and a postdoctoral training at the Leeds Institute of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine. In 2013 he joined the division of Angiology and Haemostasis of the University Hospitals of Geneva where he is currently in care of patients with bleeding and thrombotic disorders. His main research interests are related to fibrinogen disorders and bleeding of unknown cause.
