Dr. Toong Youttananukorn currently serves as the Data Quality Manager for the Gene Therapy Registry (GTR) at the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH). In this role, she will be developing and implementing the data quality program for the GTR, as well as developing the myGTR - a patient engagement tool of the WFH GTR. Prior to this role, Toong was the Data and Research Coordinator for the WFH’s World Bleeding Disorders Registry (WBDR). She developed and managed the Data Quality Accreditation Program of the WBDR and the myWBDR mobile application. Before joining the WFH team, Toong was working for Pact – a global NGO. She has spent the past 12 years in designing and implementing research and evaluations and providing Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) technical support for a wide range of projects including policy advocacy, public-private sector engagement, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, renewable energy, and equal access to healthcare and education. Toong holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Social Science with a focus on participatory development and microfinance from King’s College London, University of London.
