I am an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at Asahikawa Medical University and have been analyzing hepatocarcinogenesis using animal models for many years. In the research, I have found that the interaction between liver cancer and platelets plays an important role in carcinogenesis, and I am continuing my studies.
