Dr Jeremy Schofield is a Clinical Academic Fellow and Clinical Haematology Registrar at the University of Liverpool specialising in haemostasis and thrombosis. Current research utilises in vitro and in vivo models alongside clinical samples to comprehensively undertake translational research. Main area of research is understanding the underlying pathological mechanisms of Neutrophil Extracellular Traps and extracellular histones in critical illnesses, and developing novel therapeutic interventions to improve clinical outcomes.
