Sabine van der Horst obtained her medical degree from VUmc School of Medical Sciences, The Netherlands, in 2020. She started working at the internal medicine department of Ziekenhuis Amstelland (Amstelveen, The Netherlands) as a resident not-in-training. Currently, she is working as a researcher (PhD-student) at the department of Thrombosis and Hemostasis of Leiden University Medical Centre, The Netherlands. Her project focuses on the challenges of anticoagulant therapy, mainly therapy (non-)adherence and bleeding complications.
