Khorana, MD, FACP, FASCO is the Sondra and Stephen Hardis Chair in Oncology Research, Professor of Medicine and Vice Chair, Taussig Cancer Institute, Cleveland Clinic and Case Comprehensive Cancer Center, Cleveland, Ohio. His NIH- and CDC-funded program is focused on prediction, prevention and treatment of thromboembolism in cancer patients and on microbiomic and metabolomic profiling of young-onset gastrointestinal cancers. He is current Chair of the Medical and Scientific Advisory Board of the National Blood Clot Alliance.He was previously Chair of the ISTH Scientific Subcommittee on Hemostasis and Malignancy.
