My name is Sara Robin. I am a French medical doctor specialized in internal medicine. I currently practice at Brest University hospital, half time within the department of internal medicine, pneumology and vascular medicine, and half time in clinical hemostasis in the hematology department. I belong to Inserm unit research team UMR1304, also called GETBO (Groupe d'Etude de la Thrombose de Bretagne Occidentale) and to F-CRIN network INNOVTE (INvestigation Network On Venous Thrombo-Embolism). My research theme is venous thromboembolism in women, exploring the link between female hormones and, hemostasis, especially the balance between hemorrhage and thrombosis in the context of pregnancy and postpartum.
