I obtained Ph.D. from the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology, Kazan (Volga region) Federal University, Russia in 2012, the thesis was focused on immunological aspects of atherosclerosis in obesity. Later, I conducted clinical laboratory diagnostics training in hemostaseology, Kazan Medical Academy, Russia. Between 2012-2018 I conducted basic research in vascular biology during scholarships and fellowships in the University of Albert-Ludwig, Germany; University of Chapel Hill, USA; University of Geneva, Switzerland. In 2018 I was enrolled in the University of Michigan postdoctoral program; my research was dedicated to the immunology of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. Currently I hold the position of Director in Translational Research at IPS Therapeutique, Canadian research company, that performs pre-clinical pharmacology studies. My personal goal is to implement experience and skills that I gained in basic research, to speed up transfer of scientific advancements to clinical practice.
