Shawn X. Sun is a Director of Global Evidence & Outcomes at Takeda Pharmaceuticals. Prior to Takeda, he had worked in the HEOR area at several other pharmaceutical companies. He leads the strategy development and evidence generation in clinical, economic, and patient-centered outcomes for various pipeline and marketed products. Before joining the pharmaceutical industry, he was a HEOR manager at Walgreens, responsible for evaluating effectiveness of clinical programs and conducting HEOR studies for pharmaceutical companies.
Dr. Sun received his PhD from Duke University and did his postdoctoral fellowship in Pharmacoeconomics from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
