Ceren Eyileten, DVM, PhD, MSc is an Assistant Professor since 2020 in the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. She is a senior researcher in the I-COMET International Research Team in the field of ‘integrated multi-omic approach to the clinical biomarker discovery in cerebro-cardiovascular diseases’.
She is in her early career and has already carried out over 10 granted scientific studies with a focus on personalized therapy for patients based on transcriptomic/metabolomic/proteomic/lipidomic data.
Her publications (>60; IF>280; >1000 citations; h-index: 19) have added to a debate in the cerebro-cardiovascular research community surrounding pheno- and genotyping for prediction of the disease severity and use of biomarkers in patients presenting with ischemic stroke, heart failure.
Her latest granted projects are involved in total and single-cell RNAseq studies on the function of micro RNAs, long non-coding and circular RNAs in Wilson's Disease, patients with acute myocardial infarction.
Her competencies include planning and performing genomic/genetic studies, platelet function testing, biostatistics, path analyses, meta-analyses, modeling of scores and algorithms.
