My name is Trung Nguyen MD, an associate professor at Texas Children's Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas USA. I am a pediatric intensivist and a physician-scientist with specific training and expertise in sepsis, multiple organ dysfunction syndrome, and thrombosis/hemostasis. My career goals are to improve the care and save the lives critically ill children. To achieve that mission, I have dedicated my career to understand the pathophysiology of sepsis and in particular, sepsis-induced MODS, and to find therapeutic strategies for this deadly disease.
