Molly Musarara is the Clinical Nurse Specialist at the Katharine Dormandy Haemophilia & Thrombosis Centre at the Royal Free Hospital in London, where she has worked since 2011. She has extensive experience in the care of both adults and Adolescents with inherited and acquired bleeding disorders. She has been involved in the introduction of new and improving treatment and management for these conditions. .
Molly is presently Secretary of Haemophilia Nurses’ Association (HNA) UK Molly and she has facilitated nurse workshops at HNA (UK) meetings. She has particular interest on knowledge and experience sharing. She has been involved with the International Haemophilia Training Centre (IHTC) in training nurses who are new to haemophilia. She believes a role modelling to be a powerful motivator for a positive and effective clinical service.
Molly is leading the women’s services in their haemophilia. She is passionate about the pivotal role played by Clinical Nurse Specialist and allied health professionals in the care of women & girls with both inherited bleeding disorders and thrombosis disorders. She is keen to ensure that the continuation of gynaecological & obstetric care for girls and women is delivered in a safe and excellent manner. She also has been involved in the service improvement of the antenatal-thrombosis clinics.
