Uma Athale, MBBS, MD, M.Sc., FRCPC, FAAP
Uma is a Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist and Professor of Pediatrics at McMaster University and Consultant at McMaster Children's Hospital. Her research interests include epidemiology and treatment of acute leukemia as well as outcome measures and supportive care in pediatric oncology, particularly thrombosis in children with cancer. She has received funding support from CIHR, Heart & Stroke Foundation as well as C17 Research Network.
