I consider myself a biotechnology researcher and a serial entrepreneur, whose main interest lays in cell and gene therapy. I have a profound passion for science and a deep commitment to improving human health through biomedical science. Through entrepreneurship, I hope to translate our groundbreaking science to clinical breakthroughs.
I am co-founder of Plasfer SRL, an innovative startup company whose mission is to develop a novel cell therapy using blood platelets as drug carriers and delivery vehicles.
I decided to pursue a PhD in Translational Medicine, which I believed could give me the necessary exposure and tools to deepen my knowledge in drug development, with particular emphasis in the field of cancer and blood biology.
My work experiences over the last few years have solidified my scientific interest in the oncology and vascular biology space.
My core experience in vascular biology research combined with my spirit of entrepreneurship and a desire to innovate, positions me to make a profound impact on human health through insight, leadership and dedication to the field of cancer and more generally translational medicine.
