Eleonora is currently employed as a PhD candidate at the department of Clinical Epidemiology of Leiden University Medical Center (Netherlands). She graduated in Medicine at the University of Florence (Italy) and moved to the Netherlands for her PhD. Her main topic is identifying novel pathways and biomarkers for bleeding and thrombosis through the use of targeted proteomics. Thus, her focus is on translational projects to apply knowledge on epidemiology and methodoloty to mechanistic studies.
