I am a nurse with more than 30 years experience in fields as diverse as Rheumatology, Orthopaedics, Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care. Since 2012 I've been involved in Thrombosis, Haemostasis and Immunohaematology research in Oxford. I am currently working with Haemnet in London as their Principal researcher. In 2013 I completed a Master's in Medical Ethics and Law and I'm currently undertaking a PhD, researching the lived experience of gene therapy for People with haemophilia and their families. I have published several papers from this study as well as a number on the use of FVIII mimetics.
