Dr Campello is Assistant Professor with clinical and laboratory experience in prothrombotic diseases. Her research focuses on mechanisms of hypercoagulability in acquired conditions such as cancer- obesity and hepatic-associated coagulopathies. She had described the role of thrombin generation assay and extracellular vesicles in the cross-talk between inflammation and coagulation. She has also expertise in whole blood coagulation tests to measure hypercoagulability and platelet aggregation.
