Dr. Prism Schneider, MD, PhD, FRCSC, Associate Professor and Orthopaedic Trauma Surgeon, Department of Surgery University of Calgary, Canada
Dr. Schneider obtained her MD from the University of Calgary, and has completed post-graduate training including a PhD in Biomechanics and two Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowships at the University of Texas and McGill University. Dr. Schneider’s research interests involve understanding the cellular and systemic inflammatory response to injury and trauma-induced coagulopathy. Her research program aims to inform a precision medicine approach to prevention of venous thromboembolism.
