    Laurie Sardo is a Nurse Practitioner with the Thrombosis service at St. Joseph's Healthcare, Hamilton. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the McMaster School of Nursing and a member of Thrombosis Canada, the ISTH nursing committee and the Anticoagulation Forum.
    She enjoys patient and nursing education initiatives and recently completed her doctorate with a focus on patient education in the ambulatory oncology population.
