Robert H Lee, PhD, is Research Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics and the UNC Blood Research Center. He received his PhD from the University of Toledo (2010-2014), and then did a postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Wolfgang Bergmeier at UNC Chapel Hill (2015-2020). His current research interests are focused on mechanisms of platelet transfusion in various bleeding disorders, and platelet dysfunction as a risk factor for bleeding in Ehlers Danlos syndrome.
