Dr. med. Linda Schönborn is a medical resident at the Institute of Transfusion Medicine at the Universitätsmedizin Greifswald, Germany. From 2012-2019 she studied medicine at the University of Greifswald. In 2015 she started working at her doctoral thesis at the Institute of Transfusion Medicine in Greifswald, where she also began her medical residency in 2020. Her research focuses on vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT) and the impact of demographic changes on the blood supply. Her research is supported by the Gerhard-Domagk-Research-Grant of the Universitätsmedizin Greifswald.
