Fleur Kaptein is a PhD student at the Thrombosis and Haemostasis department of the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), supervised by Prof. Dr. M.V. Huisman and Prof. Dr. F.A. Klok. Currently, her research focuses on the prevention and treatment of venous thrombotic complications in patients with (different types of) cancer.
