Learning Objectives:
Upon completion the participant will know that atherosclerosis is driven by chronic inflammation.
Upon completion the participant will have learned that platelets and neutrophils play an important role in the propagation of vascular inflammation.
Upon completion the participant will know that enzymes and bioactive molecules from platelets and neutrophils play a role in vascular inflammation and thrombosis. Focus of this presentation will be chemokines and protein arginine deiminase 1.
