Nichola Cooper runs the Immune Haematology service at Imperial College NHS Trust. The center manages adults and children with ITP, wAIHA, HLH, Evan's and other haematological disorders associated with immunodeficiency and inflammation. She runs the non-malignant clinical trials group at Imperial, investigating pharmaceutical and investigator led studies of novel immune modulators including Syk, BTK, complement and FcRn inhibitors in ITP, wAIHA and COVID-19 related hyperinflammation. She also runs a basic research group investigating the cause of, and perpetuation of, autoimmune haematological disorders. She has authored many peer review papers including Nature Immunology, NEJM, Blood, BJH, and has co-authored the international guidelines and reviews for the management of ITP.
