Anna-Karin Olsson is a Professor in Medical Biochemistry at Uppsala University. Prof Olsson’s PhD and post-doc training is within tumor and vascular biology. Her lab is currently focused on the interface between tumor, vascular and immune cells (in particular platelets and neutrophils), both in the primary tumor and as mediators of systemic effects of cancer. The lab is also active in developing cancer vaccines, utilizing the tumor vasculature as a target.
