Biography
Nongnuch Sirachainan, M.D.
Prof. Nongnuch Sirachainan received her Doctor of Medicine from Faculty of Medicine Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University and Diplomas on Pediatrics and Hematology and Oncology from Medicine Council of Thailand. During 2000-2002, she was a WFH Trainee and Research Fellow in Pediatric Hemostasis Disorder Program at Mott Children’s Hospital, University of Michigan, USA and a Clinical Fellow in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada during 2003-2004.
Dr. Sirachainan has been working at the Department of Pediatrics, Ramathibodi Hospital since 2004. In 2020, she is appointed as a Co-chair of Pediatric/Neonatal Subcommittee of International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis. She was awarded for the Outstanding Performance in Virtue and Ethics from the Medical Council of Thailand for her dedication in teaching the students and contribution in academic works in 2006.
Her clinical interest is in the area of Hemostasis, especially thromboembolism in children. She has authored or co-authored of more than 100 articles and book chapters.
