    Thomas Thiele is Professor of Transfusion Medicine and the Director of the Institute of Transfusion Medicine, University Medical Center Rostock, Germany.
    His research interests are antibody mediated adverse reactions following vaccination including vaccine induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT), other thrombosis and thrombocytopenia syndromes (TTS), and the role of platelet subpopulations in aquired bleeding and thrombosis diseases.
